Co-Director of Stronger and President of Athletes in Progress

Tom Rayhill is a naturally talented athlete and trainer. In high school he was captain of the football team, he was selected All-State High School Football Player for the State of Illinois and holds 2 Illinois State Records. He was a Scholarship Athlete and a Varsity Lettering Athlete on the Western Illinois University Football Team, where he completed his BA in corporate Fitness and Business Management. He served as an exercise physiologist and strength specialist for the SportsMed Centre in Coral Springs, Florida and HealthSouth Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables, Florida.

What may surprise you, is that he believes “Athletes Are Built Not Born.” Tom has dedicated the last 20 years to supporting this claim. That has meant good news for the hundreds of people – professional and aspiring athletes – that he has trained. Tom Rayhill has successfully helped to improve the lives of a diverse range of people. His clients have included professional athletes like Hall of Fame Quarterback Dan Marino, to executives, home makers, teens and children. In the cities that he runs fitness programs in, he is well known as the trainer that puts his clients through the toughest of outdoor boot-camp style training – and is equally well known for the outstanding results that they achieve. His style of training is motivational, never negative, always encouraging, but firm. He wants his clients to enjoy their training, get the most from it, and most of all incorporate their fitness activities into their daily lives. Tom is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and expertise in his field. He is a family man and is actively involved in community and charity endeavors. It makes one wonder - are great fitness trainers - like Tom Rayhill - born or built?
